Ever since I was a young girl I have always wanted to seek adventure in life. My hobby was exploring different places and discovering new things. It began with finding new trees in the forest behind my house, it continued with exploring my neighbourhood. My sense of exploration has allowed me to discover new things in the city that I call home: Vancouver.
If you live in one city for your entire life, things are bound to become boring. However, this can lead to adventure. If you are a teenager bored out of your mind, wandering the streets will open your eyes to things you would never have noticed before.
This website is broken into two sections: Usual and Unusual. In the Usual sections, there are reviews and listings of locations that are popular. The normal tourist destinations for people that rely on guidebooks. These are not to be overlooked. They are still wonderful places to visit. They are not made popular without reason.
However, my favourite section of this website is under the Unusual. Lists of places, events, restaurants, shopping and nature are written about. These locations are found heavily Downtown and in North Vancouver. It is where I grew up and thus, where I know the best. It is a local perspective to a city that may seem boring and drab.
